holding my breath until wednesday

big fans

reflecting on the election tomorrow. i'll be glad when it's over and i haven't even "enjoyed" the brunt of it, being at the distance as i am. i just spent an hour looking at the requirements for danish citizenship, just in case. it's difficult, but would undoubtedly be worth it if the worst happens tomorrow.

and if you haven't already sussed out what i think the worst would be, i think the rude pundit has said it much better than i could. me, i'm just sitting around, sick to my stomach at the thought.

i have voted and sent it weeks ago. now all i can do is wait and hold my breath. and i hope i don't have to kiss my passport goodbye.

Sick to my stomach too. We might have to leave.

I'm holding my breath right there with you and I couldn't even vote.

Relax. It may not be a landslide, but:

I hoping it doesn't come down to, "a black man vs. silent bigots and racists".

We know about the noisy rightwingers, the stupid, the stone-age religious zealots and the xenophobic paranoids - but those silent haters - they're the ones that worry me.

opinions not withstanding, this rude person is the reason why a civilized discourse is impossible. what a dreadful person, his/her limited intellect is well illustrated with his crude gutter language. sad, very sad on so many levels.

@extranjera I'm hoping its not going to be as close as the media is making out.

@celkalee I'm a believer in the use of swearing to break tension. I think the rude pundit does it well. and between the swear words, his arguments are actually pretty sound. he reminds me of some sailors I used to hang out with.
