stacks of inspiration

this gorgeousness arrived right before i left for singapore. it's the latest stacks of anna maria horner's fabrics. i had ordered them and K brought them home from the US right before we left. it was pretty tough leaving them behind all by themselves, but there was no time for sewing on the road. but today, that will all change. an old friend had a baby girl recently and i'm going to make her a bright, cheery little quilt. i'm even more inspired to do so after reading this post on anna maria horner's blog.

are you going to do something creative today?

  1. You can't help but be creative with those beside you. I shall try in my usual prosaic way.

  4. That fabric is so fun and pretty -- it's almost enough to make me get pregnant again in order to force you to make me one.

    Almost. ;)

  8. I'm drooling over your fabrics....

For now I'm limited to tearing up Goodwill Store finds to use as fabric, but my new projects are making me dizzy with happiness. : )

Anna Marie's website just gave me some ideas...

Have fun with your cheery fabrics and your pizza : )

  9. Oh how I missed you blog... you've been to Singapore, awesome! Did you go to the night show at the zoo? If you did, I was one of the people sitting on the snake, when they 'lost' it. Creepiest moment of my life.

Love the fabrics too, the colours are fabulous!

  13. Stop taunting me!!! Still a month to go before I will allow myself to think about sewing/crafts etc, and yet I am making zero progress through my photo/lightroom project which I vowed to complete.

    KICK ME! x

  14. It's just amazing how you manage to see so much color.

I was at the office a couple of hours back, outside the building having a smoke, thinking about your pictures and their colors. And I looked around, trying to see color, but I couldn't see them.

I wonder how you manage to see them in everyday things. Maybe, it's a gift! :)
