Here in Van and also OXON I keep it up but only with boletus, chanterelles, shaggy manes, you know, non-deadly things. I do go out of my way to find true morels in the spring tho. Absolutely wonderful. False morels? Kind of in the same vein as siege food for me, (food to be eaten when there’s nothing left to eat. Like snails).Veronica Rothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15288280932510764014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7131844.post-72292827339263573642012-04-17T05:10:17.644+02:002012-04-17T05:10:17.644+02:00first off... what the @#$% are you smokin? the mus...first off... what the @#$% are you smokin? the mushrooms?

use them as dried up christmas tree decorations and fill up on the pastries instead.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02094043560248810906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7131844.post-72221464480758943012012-04-16T03:16:26.931+02:002012-04-16T03:16:26.931+02:00I prefer finding food things at the grocery store....I prefer finding food things at the grocery store.willhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15590217997145761582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7131844.post-9503197681427890542012-04-16T01:10:22.880+02:002012-04-16T01:10:22.880+02:00No, I wouldn't. I'm tempted by the Amanitas too, which require multiple water changes until they change from deadly to delicious. In my pre-children existence I would have quite likely sampled them, but I stand on this side of "safe" now.

Besides, there are lots of edible mushrooms out there, no need to get hung up on the bad boy who make take you down a path you can't return from, right?Lisa at lil fish studioshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15264613554041175072noreply@blogger.com
