When the white blossoms fall like little snowflakes all over the street & yard I cannot begin to tell you how happy it makes me. It's the view I see as I sit on my couch. You made a terrific choice.

:) Debid smith kaich joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13450581639610967780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7131844.post-36190424679002242432008-07-30T22:40:00.000+02:002008-07-30T22:40:00.000+02:00Funny- that book is about the only recently-publis...Funny- that book is about the only recently-published book I have read in a long time, and I read it a couple of months ago. I too got through it in a few days. Reading something with such a different perspective to what we commonly see, that's worth taking a chance on. I do agree the title was, shall we say, misleading, a little, but it worked in its favour at least as far as I was concerned.
I'm glad you liked it too. It strongly reminded me, narrative style-wise, of The Stranger, by Albert Camus. One fellow telling his tale to an unseen listener, and revealing slowly his secrets.Phyllis Hunt McGowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13370730851612587650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7131844.post-11248484795819675842008-07-30T17:56:00.000+02:002008-07-30T17:56:00.000+02:00The more you show of that pretty kitchen...the mor...The more you show of that pretty kitchen...the more I salivate.
