monday wonderings or where is global warming when you need it?

monday wonderings...

~ why are weekends only two days?

~ how did we not notice that the house is crumbling to dust in places?

~ will i survive another day without internet at home?

~ why do i still need my winter coat in may? (aka where is the global warming when you need it?)

~ what are we going to do with all those strawberries when they come?

~ how did we live without a horse for so long?

~ will i ever truly be done with the laundry?

~ why do people drive like insane maniacs on country roads?

~ why does the coffee around here taste like dishwater?

~ how/when did nokia so lose the plot on phone design?

~ who knew matilde was such a glorious jumper?

what are you wondering this monday?

I still hvae my chrome Nokia phone that they used in the Matrix. Sometimes when I pick it up, I wonder where they dropped the ball as well. I owned several over the years...and loved them all.

Then I go over to my iPhone and Google Nokias history.
That's where they dropped the ball.

"what are you wondering this monday?"

•Intellectualism is fading from view.

•Today, artsy creativity is highly derivative.

•There is no such thing as "truth".

•Individualism is more or less dead.

•The Borg are us.

I can"t answer most of your questions, but I can tell you with utmost certainty that the laundry will NEVER be done.

Well a four day weekend is coming up!!!!

Strawberries are a kind of fruit, you can eat them!!!!

Laundry is a kind of weed, it always comes back!!!!

And we have the coldest spring in 13 years!!!!

An abundance of strawberries sounds wonderful. It sounds like a fun way to meet your neighbors - take them strawberries and tell them you don't have time to deal with them because you just moved in down the road - or better yet, invite them to come and pick their own.

I would love longer weekends; that would be lovely.

I think today I'm wondering how I'm going to get through the next few weeks without losing all my hair or without hurting someone. Yay for lots going on all at the same time!

Oh, I am wondering lots this Monday, but yes, it SNOWED here yesterday, on Mother's Day. That's just wrong on so many levels.
You will never be done with the laundry, unless you suddenly choose to be a nudist.
And you will make jam with the strawberries, and it will be wonderful...those are the only answers I have, today.

you will never be truly done with the laundry (its annoying, i know)

lots of strawberries= jam!

driving like an insane maniac on a country road is the only way to drive it.
