oh the places you'll go

i don't need these, but aren't they pretty?
(and do i ever want them...)

i didn't go in, but isn't that a fantastic typeface?
(and i'd like to go back.)

i wasn't biking, but these made me wish i had been.

i'm not religious, but doesn't this look like a place you could meet god?
(or at least odin.)

great images as always, love the last one, you know I'm not very religious either, but when I visited some of the old churches last time i went to Armenia... they did seem so spiritual, and just so divine you know? so ya I know what you mean :)

"oh the places you'll go" carries such a special meaning for me - as it does for almost everyone, i suspect - i was (shame on me) absent from my oldest (ever) friend's wedding because I had just gotten a job on the other side of the world. I had someone read it out, with certain modifications to suit her and her husband, at the wedding. I was so sad I couldnt make it, but in so many ways, my modified version was everything i wanted to say to her, and the lovely thing was she totally got it. Its the loveliest thing i think dr seuss has come up with.

Sorry for the sentimental ramble. what i really meant say was, YES. LOVELY PHOTOS.

The last photo. The lighting - wow! That is the clincher.

I was thinking the last place looks like some place I might find a good bottle of wine.

I stopped frequenting your blog, because everytime I come here (like today), I miss not having my camera around.

I know this is a comment for the other post, but that blue room, is it in your house? No wonder you have so much color in your life. It starts right from where you live. :)

Have fun with those Tokina lenses. Sssh, won't tell Spud! :)

Oh, I really liked this thought process. So many beautiful things in the world to covet and want to be a part of . . .
