a failure to complain

what we have going on here on this gorgeous, sunny saturday is a complete and utter failure to complain. there can be no complaining about anything when the day is full of sunshine and...

riding lessons

this time on milton
tho' i'm not keen on how he carries his tail
however, this is about not complaining
and it's not like he's OUR horse, he's a lesson horse

tulips & apple blossoms from the garden

doesn't the shockingly dirty window behind give a nice monet-like effect?

a walk in the woods

husband capturing me capturing macros of little woodland worlds
it's good to have two cameras

wonderful surprises from another hemisphere

thank you so much molly for the unexpected treat!!
i'm already inspired!!

and now, to top it off, we're making posh burgers on the grill (like #8 here).

it's pretty much been a perfect day.

hope your day was/is perfect too!

Such beautiful pictures!
Enjoy your Visi - it's awesome, and will take your mind off of useless people who fail to buy an iPhone.

Beautiful shots, Julie. But I love husband's one of you the best! I so often find myself in strange postures these days, trying to get some shot or another.
I hear lot's of giggles or snickers behind me, too. They're very helpful, my girls.
Glad you had a perfect day!

Thanks for the beautiful pictures. I couldn't have seen them a moment too soon. It's cranky boy day at my house.

i've already been totally validated by the Visi--i have a set of the cool salad serving thingies (bestik) and MY purse company (african gameskin)-seriously, no lie, i have bought TEN of their purses (some for gifts) has an ad in the back. it totally validates me. which is probably sad on so many levels.

i can only recommend. highly. the D60. i would go without food to buy one. if i didn't already have one. :-)

glad this is cheering people and setting the mood for days that have lots left in the US. it's dinnertime here and i should see if anyone's started any coals...

LOVE taking macro pics of ferns too - I think they're really sultry, don't you? Uh-oh ~ more plant sex ...
Glad you got the package - your lovely photo and arrangement makes all the bits look really beautiful.
Hope your Sunday is as wonderful a day!

I have a horse, there is a picture of her on my blog page :]
and the way he carries his tail is the way his breed carries their tails. im pretty sure he is arab or part. or some sort of gaited horse. ask the trainer, i promise hes not being silly, its just who he is :]

beautiful photos as well. no complaints! ;]

I really like your husbands macros. Maybe because nature photography is a sort of passion of mine. :)

By the way, funnily enough I am drinking a glass of white wine at this specific moment. I think I am under bad influence! ;)

No complaints here, either. I spent most of my day either buying plants or planting them . . . and I made pecan sticky buns for breakfast, and it was warm enough (well almost) to eat dinner outside.

I'm realizing that plants are more tempting than clothes . . . what strange transformation is taking place?

Your macro pictures are fab -- particularly loved the curled fists of ferns.

I now have 'camera envy'! I almost got excited at one photo, because I thought it was fiddle head ferns! Do you ever forage mushrooms or other things?

Okay I confess I am obsessed with food!
