does this make sense?

i just spent my morning frantically cleaning and not blogging. yes, i felt compelled to clean before the new cleaning girl came for the first time today. is that sad or what? she's here now. it's lovely hearing the sound of someone else vacuuming, i must say. a real post later...

You'll know when you've achieve upper crust status ... your secretary hires the staff and pays the bills. You're not even aware there's a cleaning staff - the house is always miraculously clean.

sebrina--that makes me feel better. i thought i was totally mental.

bill--i feared something along those lines...i'm not worthy of having a cleaning person...i actually thought about whether those brits in the big manor houses ever worry about such things...sigh.

Yes, but here cleaning ladies MAKE you clean up your stuff first. They are "cleaning" ladies, not "pick your crap" up ladies..... I guess that you know once a week you will have a clean and picked up house!

By the time I finish picking things up I am too darn tired to then actually clean! So yeah for you

Aren't you supposed to be lounging on a chaise and eating bon-bons? Oh, wait, that's what you do once the cleaning girl arrives. I get it.

In my world, this is totally normal!

Cleaning a house, I have some vague memory pushing at the edges of my brain. I can almost remember what that means, but then I remember that I simply shuffle the mess around.

Enjoy your clean and cleaned again house!
