Yeah, that prank was hilarious. You're right, she was absolutely clueless.

Worse yet was her statement about the First Amendment. Did you hear it? It is clear she doesn't even understand what it means. That is bizarre.

If McRage and Palin actually get elected, we will welcome you in Canada.

Unreal. So clueless, and so idiotic. What was that man thinking?

Just found you. I love the inference of the "McRage" comment from one of your readers. I live in East Texas. Can you imagine what that is like with the Republicans in cowboy hats and boots hovering everywhere? I find Sarah Palin too contrived, too "straight from the pageant walkway", and too brainless to fight for women's rights. A shame to our dignified gender. In relation to the comment, "what was that man thinking?" He's thinking with the only brain that men have, and it's below their belt buckle. This from being married three times in my 51 years.

You don't have to say anything nice about her. I've absolved you.

I almost called her retarded. (Well, I did, actually, in my non-PC way.)

When "Sarkozy" started talking about seeing her in "Nailin' Palin," I thought I was going to lose my mind laughing.

Thank goodness for the Canadians. They can see her from their kitchen windows and I feel sorry for them. They're very good sports.

ps. I have part of the transcript on my blog if you need to see it all written out.

hi glenn--thanks for the offer on canada...i was always going to head there if dan quayle became president...he seems so harmless now, doesn't he?

magpie...i think brenda has it right..he was thinking with the little brain below the belt.

brenda--thanks for stumbling onto my blog. it's always fun to meet new people! :-) especially people who also think SP is a moron.

tangobaby--that nearly killed me too...especially because it didn't even serve as a CLUE to her!!! how could she possibly have even imagined that sarkozy would call her at all? that should have been the first clue. but she hasn't been near a clue bus, train or plane in her life, has she?

Wow. I don't care much what y'all say about Sarah Palin (and I'm sure she doens't care either), but Brenda! Baby! We live in the same town, and I gotta tell you, I have tons of relatives "hovering" about in Stetsons & expensive boots, and they're Democrats! I'm so sorry you don't like it here, sweetie, but I gotta take up for my state. I am a proud Texan & I have lots of cowboy boots, and even a hat - a cute one too, pale aqua. David Byrne of the Talking Heads once came to Texas to film True Stories, even here to this small town, and found himself expecting bigotry & small-mindedness, because that's what he'd been told to expect. In an interview, and possibly in the book itself (I don't have it here in front of me; I'm at work) he talked about how surprised he was to find the exact opposite. How he discovered that Texans actually have a huge "I don't care how weird you are" attitude about people, and how he grew to love the fact that we just didn't care. And truly, we don't. To a point. You just gotta learn to do what we do - roll your eyes at folks & go on.

Sorry, but this is my state & I love it. And this is my town.

From a registered Independent - pro-choice, gun-owning, anti-government regulations & bailouts Texas girl, in great boots.

I guess it's too late to have Sarkozy's Chief of Staff, Pepe le Pew, place a follow up call to her.

Man, what I would give for a prank Putin call to rekindle my forbidden love fantasies of the two of them.
